Book Review: MICE
(Gordon Reece)

Rarely have I rooted for someone's comeuppance as enthusiastically as I did in MICE.

But then, I don't think much of bullies in any form. People who are deliberately cruel deserve whatever happens to them.

After a string of attacks and humiliations, young Shelley and her mother take care of a bully in the only way they have. It's almost impossible not to take their side.

Author Gordon Reece has written and illustrated 14 children's books and graphic novels. MICE is his American debut and first novel. It's a very fast, compelling read that had me almost cheering by the end.
