The day the fountains stop

In an official drought, how long will the decorative water fountains in Redding -- a constant reminder of the North State's water abundance -- continue to burble and splash? Watch what happens. The day they're turned off is the signal that we finally understand how vulnerable our water is to southern takeover.

  1. Amen, Amen, Amen. What is equally as interesting is the lack of resources agencies in this area devote to water conservation ~ unlike what is expended on energy conservation. I guess until the bandaid is ripped off and everyone starts screaming, drought and its most serious consequences will be ignored.
