Benefit breakfast for community radio station

Just a reminder of a great Father's Day breakfast outing that feeds the family and the community.

The Intermountain Area of Shasta County, Calif., is holding a benefit breakfast Sunday to raise funds for the Radio Project. The FCC-approved community radio station needs to raise money for a building. The signal will reach Montgomery Creek, Big Bend, Oak Run, Bella Vista and parts of Redding.

The breakfast will be held at the Round Mountain Community Center from 8 a.m. to noon. On the menu are several kinds of pancakes with real maple syrup, fruit, yogurt and other goodies.

Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for an adult in a family or group of four or more, and $4 for children ages 5 to 12. Children under 5 eat free.

Such a deal. Such a good cause.
