Light a candle for election perfection

My absentee ballot for the June 3 primary election came with the right return-address envelope, to Shasta County rather than the Tehama County envelope some voters received. And it contained a Democrat ballot, which also is correct. But it contained Republican candidate information for the partisan races.

No big deal. These envelopes are stuffed by hand by human beings, who are only as perfect as I am. Everyone understands human error. Nevertheless, let us send up a prayer that on Election Day, the ballot counters (including me) are well rested, well fed and fully alert.
