Rotarians spin Shasta Lanes

Saturday was Rotary bowl-a-thon
night. We fluffed up at home for
our team theme... Great American
Trailer Park the Musical.

We are The Gutter Goddesses.
"Ah thank we look niiice!"

So you can see we were excited...

...right down to our Double Bubble.

We were a tad late.
They'd already started when we arrived.
Pretty serious bunch.

The announcer hollered at everybody
to knuckle down and get serious.
At least that's what I think he said.

So of course everyone did, right away.

Starting with the chief.

Playing through!

Some team outfits got a little out of hand.

Granny throws come in handy, don't they?

And nobody broke a nail. High five!

Some teams appeared to actually know what they were doing. Huh.

Some just menaced the rest of us.

We were intimidated and frightened.

So were others. Terrified.

The organizers kept things in line, though.
The goal was to raise $5,000.
We topped $7,200.
Moneymakers!

Dave was our team hero as pinch hitter.
No actual pinching was involved.

Stuart bought tons of raffle tickets and classed up the joint.

Lee kept us in beer and pizza. He about went broke.

Too soon the evening was over. Our collective team score was 12.
But we didn't care a bit. Nobody had more fun.

Kiss this, y'all!

We'll be back next year.

Thanks to Jude Price, Tom Stovall and Rotary Club of Redding for many of these photos....
